AdBlue is a solution of urea (carbamide) in ultra-pure water, with a urea concentration of 31.8-32.2%, supplied as a clear, colourless liquid used as a selective reduction agent for SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems on diesel engines.
Characteristics
Helps reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines equipped with SCR technology, meets the international quality standard ISO 22241-1:2006(E), and has a 12-month shelf life when stored between -11.5°C and 25°C.
Applications
Used in diesel engines (trucks, buses, construction machinery, marine vessels) equipped with SCR exhaust-treatment systems to help meet Euro/IMO emissions standards.
