On November 11, 2025, Viet Duc JSC joined BASF and various partners to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Ba Chuc Kindergarten, located in Ba Chuc Commune, Tri Ton District, An Giang Province—a project carrying profound humanitarian significance for children in the border region.

Built more than 60 years ago, the school was once the only learning facility for children aged 3 to 5 in the area. Over time, its infrastructure had severely deteriorated: cramped classrooms, peeling walls, and a damaged playground posed multiple safety risks for young children. With the goal of providing a safer and higher-quality learning environment, Viet Duc, together with BASF and supporting partners, decided to rebuild the school.

Project Components

Construction of one new classroom meeting safety and hygiene standards.
Development of an outdoor children’s playground.
Renovation of shared activity areas to enhance learning and play conditions.
Compliance with all required construction quality and safety standards.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place in a warm and meaningful atmosphere, with the attendance of local government representatives, school administrators, teachers, students, and sponsoring organizations.

The Ba Chuc project is part of BASF’s long-standing journey, alongside its partners, to improve educational infrastructure in underprivileged regions. With Viet Duc’s participation, the program continues to expand, bringing even greater positive impact to the community.
