Irgacor® L 190 is manufactured by BASF Group (Germany) and imported and distributed directly by Viet Duc Joint Stock Company.
Irgacor L 190 is an organic polycarboxylic acid, an ashless (metal-free) corrosion inhibitor for water-based systems, supplied as a white wet cake with an average free-acid content of 50% (the balance being water).
Characteristics
Shows very low foaming tendency and good air release, is compatible with hard water, has water solubility that increases sharply above pH 8 (from 5.0%), and has very low solubility in mineral oil.
Applications
Used in semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking fluids, water-based hydraulic fluids (HFC), and engine coolants, typically at 0.25-1.1% treat rate.
