Magnafloc 5250 is an anionic polyacrylamide powder, off-white in colour and odourless, used as a flocculant in water treatment.
Characteristics
Dissolves in water to form a viscous solution, effectively binds suspended particles into larger flocs to accelerate sedimentation and phase separation, and is non-flammable in its raw form.
Applications
Used as a flocculation/sedimentation aid in the treatment of potable water, industrial wastewater, and other solid-liquid separation and clarification processes.
