Synative ES TMP 05 is a trimethylolpropane trioleate (TMP trioleate) ester, supplied as a clear, light yellow liquid with an ASTM colour index of 2.
Characteristics
Has a high viscosity index (180), a low pour point (down to -40°C), good biodegradability, low water content, and good storage stability with a shelf life of 2 years or more.
Applications
Used as a base oil for biodegradable hydraulic fluids (alone or blended with vegetable oils), a base oil for greases, chlorine-free synthetic metal-forming/drawing fluids, and as a low-temperature performance improver when added to rapeseed oil.
