During engine operation, AdBlue® is injected into the exhaust stream via the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, converting NOx into harmless water vapor and nitrogen gas. This process enables the vehicle to meet Euro 5 and Euro 6 emissions standards.

If the AdBlue® level runs low, the system will issue a warning on the dashboard, and the vehicle will not be able to restart after being turned off unless a minimum required amount of the solution is refilled.
